Intimate Farmyard Wedding Inspiration // Eclectic & Vintage Elopement Dripping With Jewel-Toned Decor
This stunning inspiration shoot, which took place on a lovely farm on the outskirts of Calgary, was filled with vintage vinyl, jewel-toned glassware, and an eclectic mix of florals, food, and rustic farm animals.
We love the eclectic combination of vintage rentals and bold jewel-toned glassware, paired with a chic mermaid gown and a modern take on wildflowers. This shoot was inspired by vintage home decor, bohemian vibes, and the couple themselves! The desire was to replicate the intimacy and realness of a classic farmyard wedding, but inject a more modern twist into the classic rustic styling we had seen as of late.
And the farm animals were such a lovely bonus!
The florist, Laurie from Hen & Chicks, created the most stunning floral arrangements for the occasion. With a wild aesthetic in mind, she added the perfect pops of colour to complement the couple, tablescape, and farmyard landscape.
We love being able to witness great love like this! Brooklyn Caroline did an amazing job helping the couple seem so effortlessly in love and comfortable. Consider using the following prompt if you want to create a lovable moment like this! Tell your groom to run up and bear hug his bride from behind and nuzzle his nose into her neck. It will be even more shocking if you surprise the bride with it!
The bold jewel-toned palette wouldn’t have been possible without the beautiful vintage glassware from Orange Trunk.
Not sure how to add a pop of colour to your special day? Consider placing some beautiful vintage glassware on your tablescape! It’s sure to brighten up any place setting, and adds such a unique touch to the table.
This bar cart, complete with vintage glasses, decanters, and brass accessories, is what dreams are made of! Luxurious jewel tones paired with a popping bottle of prosecco and an agate bottle opener from Anthropologie were all we needed to fall in love with this set up.
The cake, created by Bake My Day, was as delicious as it was beautiful. And we just loved how the floral elements complemented the colour palette of the shoot. Plus we can’t get enough of those blackberries placed there as well! A show-stopping cake for sure!
The best way to modernize your invitation suite? Abstract painting, modern lettering, and acrylic additions!
Early in the planning stage of this shoot, we envisioned a moment for the bride and groom to share in a small intimate dance in the middle of the forest. So we set the stage with a beautiful rug from Orange Trunk, some moody candles, and vintage-inspired record player. We couldn’t be happier with the end result, just take a look for yourself!
